Maxi Degrassi is a young DJ and Producer who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since the 15-years old he has been involved with electronic music taking advantage of technology tools to improve a solid own sound inspired in styles including Techno, Tech House, and Deep House.
He has had the opportunity to share stage with artists the likes of Guy Mantzur (Sudbeat) Andre Galluzzi – Dana Ruh – Secret Cinema (Cocoon Recordings) Microtrauma, Mariano Mellino and more, playing in well known clubs in Buenos Aires like Bahrein as well as Progrezo Records label nights.
As a producer his career shows a clear and solid panorama, having signed own music productions on recognized record labels the likes of City Life (US), System Recordings (New York) and his own Dubstore Records amongst others; next to big industry names the likes of James Holden, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Bryan Zentz, Oliver Koletzki, Dominik Eulberg, Dieselboy, Jamie Stevens, Luis Junior, Andre Sobota, Cid Inc, and Motorcitysoul only to name a few.
In the meantime Maxi Degrassi has released recently along with Mariano Merllino and Kintar, an outstanding ep on Guy Mantzur’s imprint Plattenbank with huge support from some world’s top Dj names.
Debuting in Progrezo Records, Maxi has prepared a huge ep with three overwhelming gems packaged as South Lond to blow up minds on the fly! First on the list is a forward-thinking house but techno piece of track as eps called. Here the Argentinean talent proves himself as one of the notorious emerging producers that has pedigree to suit sophisticated DJ sets and rooms without doubt. Analogue synth shoots bring together a kind of fresh spirit over stomped Rhino beats surrounded by mad vocal touches as straight arrows to the dance-floor.
Second on the list Maxi delivers a techy-house groove track as New Ron to suit any kind of dynamic but classy Dj set. Well crafted percussive elements, hypnotic synth lines and ace vocal shoots make tension to the mix bringing with a solid piece of track with attributes enough to warm up the night without doubt.
