Cool spring winds carry Italian artist Barbur into the Cat For Lunch spaceship. To introduce himself he present us with a kaleidoscopic three track EP: “Trip on the River” surprises and captures listeners by combining an arpeggio of synths to an old school base; “No more baby” oozes with love for classic house and his bass-line, chords and that voice that cries “No more!” takes you back 20 years like you were driving the DeLorean. For all the party lovers out there, the heaving percussion in “Who is Jack?”, together with the bass and drums, makes for a sweet party tune. Label head Metrophonique take control of the remix, turning it into an ethereal deep-house track.
