Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire aka Space DJz have been at the forefront of UK techno since the early 1990's. Recording for CLR, Novamute, Infonet, Ongaku and Soma and running their own celebrated labels whilst touring the world for the best part of 20 years, their place in UK techno history is assured. Never a pair to rest on their laurels they have continued to champion a number of specialist sounds, following their own path forward and refusing to bow to the pressure of fashions and fads.
For their Perc Trax debut they present four tracks that showcase their sound at it's stripped down best. Expect rock solid kicks, tight rolling grooves and dubbed-out effects as the pair shy away from big breakdowns and keeps their eyes firmly on the floor. 3 dance floor tracks plus an ambient dj tool make up the EP and confirm that the Space DJz are back at the top of their game.
