Technically, the best way of defining the style of this artist, would be 50 % detroit techno 50 % Jean-Michel Jarrè, and probably nearer to the work of producers such as Aril Brikha or Chymera, with a definite French influence to his organic soundscapes created by traditional analogue hardware.
His single " The Hutte " is a super melodic mantra that simply hypnotizes you, and the two re-imaginings that accompany follow the same line with the same intensity.
In Damabiah's début he is joined by two great friends of the label and great producers of the new Spanish scene, bRUNA (Paradigma Musik, spa. RK) and Dosem (Sino, Technasia) that have given us two versions that catch the original sensibility to translate it into their sound, powerful Techno hit in case of Dosem and pure electronic emotion in case of bRUNA.
We are not the only ones that have been transfixed by the work of Damabiah, as names such as Laurent Garnier, Hernán Cattaneo or Pete Tong already have him in their sights, and this is just the beginning for this artist...
