[Suara 004] Claudio PRC - Mascara

Post by Coyu »

The last Suara’s record was a huge success! Played by Loco Dice, Karotte or Technasia, among many others, and supported by the people who understand better the music: the clubbers, the anonymous people who buy in Beatport, you. Microdinamic’s remix arrived to the Beatport’s minimal top3 and general’s top50. Thanks for your support!

With the new one we arrive to a next level. Claudio PRC performs the first time in Suara with two underwater minimal tech tunes, mental as mad, wants to honour the Basic Channel / Axis hypnotech old school records. Linear, minimalist, conceptual, intelligent but just ready to burn the dancefloor. You can believe me! It’s really good!

The remixers are very well-know for everybody: Signore Dito, Alessio Mereu and Piatto. The first one is the new a.k.a. of Broombeck, one of the most succesful artists of the last months with amazing records in Opossum (“The Clapper”) or Big City Beats (“Mono Turn”), whose arrived to the main general tops of the best digital music stores. He converts “Mascara” in an amazing electro tech trip, great for lovers of Dubfire, Paul Ritch, Oxia and Popof. It will be a hit, i’m sure! Alessio Mereu strikes again in Suara with other techno bomb. He keeps the original taste of the tune but stamps his daring and competence to do some really big. Suara loves Alessio. At least Piatto does a rework of Raw Material (the most darker and atmospheric track ever released in Suara), sharing his Italian talent with a big dosi of techno groove. It can do damaged!

i like this guy's work on tanto quanto, that track "soleluna" mainly but i have something to say bout this label in particular (suara) and also about the whole beatportmaniacsforchartsandshit:

enough with the italian invasion, don't you think? almost every track i listen it just don't say sh!t to me. Lack of personality, originality... boring... and i can't believe that it's just about SALES and for how long it stays at the shitty top 10.- there are some quality artists, but all this young boys playing with live!presets are so fucking obvious...

i thought that you Coyu have your well based ideas and perspectives when it comes about music, but the development of this label is not what i was expecting, at all.

Not the strongest release for sure, but I liked the Raw Material (original) quite a lot.

mmmm...interestin point you are raising here. Maybe not this release/label in particular (at least not entirely - I do rate some stuff that's come out on Saura so far..) but I agree that there's a lot of crap that all sounds the same that's coming from Italy nowadays...
