Clear and Pleasant Danger kicks off the Year of the Machine catalog with 4 tracks from Tractile that refuse to let you sit still and passively listen. The intertwined synthetic sound structures and infectious grooves found here belong in a soundtrack to a robotic battle scene.

Enjoy guys... part of the inspiration for starting Year of the Machine was to give back to great communities like this one!

Congrats on a great release! I like all of the tracks, but I think my favorite is either Backed by None or Scannerhead.

Ohhh the first one is hot....especially with the vocal "tin tin tin" sounding sample.

Great sounds in Scannerhead..except im not really feeling the sound from 4:20 -5:08..and through there on out.

Napping in the cockpit: the synth has that squirky dbx thing going. The background sounds compliment pretty well too.

backed by none: has some good sounds but isnt the best one on this album. this is the kind of track id like to see in a live pa set, and not necessarily a dj set.
