As the story goes, the main character’s wife dies and he is faced with the necessity of caring for his daughter. He decides to take on bits and pieces of both rolls (mother and father), and this represents a duality of personality, an alter ago of sorts - which is exactly why erickOtanabE is a perfect pseudonym. Created from a desire to experiment with different beats, sounds, and samples, erikOtanabE creates compelling works that are equal parts sophisticated lounge, and rocking dance floor.
