all in all a disappointing release ... maybe i got old or its just boring, but i wont pay nearly 50 bucks for 3-4 okayish tracks ...

perlon - i'm out!
-everything you think, do and say
is in the pill you took today-

-life is of the nature of water:
it always seeks the deepest place,
which is always below in the darkness
and heaviness of the earth.-

Perhaps they work better in a club. That's often the case with this style of music.

For me personally, I preferred the newer school Perlon tracks (except for Dimbiman's and the Pile track) of Binh, Spacetravel, Tanaka. Interestingly they all play a lot more gigs than the others, so perhaps they are more attuned to what has changed.

The Pile track is the best for me. The chords sound a bit like YGH from Alcachofa.

Upon continually listening to the snippets, the whole thing has already grown on me, though not sure if I'll buy it.

No it's not that. It's just, in my opinion all the tracks seem unfinished and not styleish at all. Just my 2 cents.

Definitely, things have changed, but I sometimes have a hard time to put it into words. What is it that is different now? Despite the obvious aspect of less organic, more spaced out sounds.
