i think tanaka is searching his directions. He became part of the Perlon artists and he released stuff with Melchior. He is very influenced from the intelligent reduced tracks of guys like melchior, zip or ricardo, too.

His record selection in sets are not so much outstanding. Always the same beat and kind of rhythms over hours, it becomes shortly boring.

Keep in mind, his roots are in japanese big room techno (look to the Womb Mix CD with almost 135bpm stuff).

Relating to his works from around 2000 the expected quality to him is high. Maybe to high at the moment.
