On another messageboard I had dialog with someone who had been in direct contact with Robert Drewek (who runs Chiwax) in August and back then Robert had mentioned he was trying to deals with Gemini and Dancemania.

my personal opinion is, there are only 2 options

1. he just doesnt care
2. he has much bigger problems than not getting money from re-issues

this "you exploit someone who cant defend himself" is just bullshit.
this guy is lost for a decade, maybe he is even dead (i hope not).

how long till labels can re-issue stuff? 10 years? 20 years? 50 years?

hope the artist get some money from this somehow but to be honest i think that "There is a person collecting royalties for Spencer's publishing" is just a bullshit! :/

Frankly, i don't give a damn. I'd care if Kincy cared. But apparently he doesn't.
He's probably living a happy life without music, running around Chicago, eating cats, sniffing glue.
And i am going to buy this record, play it & celebrate the talent that he once was.

Probably what it comes down to for a lot of buyers of this record. This is a great deal as opposed to paying €30+ excluding shipping for a VG+ copy. I sure as hell hope he really gets money from the account that has been set up for him though.

As this is more or less a straight up repress, i'm curious what the next one in the series will be then.

rawax, chiwax guys have a serious bias towards colored wax.. nevertheless their overall output is quite dope..

I kind of wish this had come out on some other label. I've been boycotting these rawax, chiwax, nixwax, dubwax and whatever-wax releases. Interested to see what the other "gemini traxx" parts will be.
