DUMB-UNIT rings in 2006 with a melancholic monster. "RAREFIED ATMOPHERE" is the brainchild of GIORGIO GIGLI, another key member of the expanding Roman techno empire. Giorgio first came to light with his sensational Chiki Disco EP (produced alongside Donato Dozzy), a track which caused a healthy stir in the electronic music community worldwide. Part of the Rome-based minimal house label Electronica Romana, Giorgio demonstrates that there is a new sound emerging from deep within the heart of Italy. There is a feeling of early Plus 8 but with a dedicated commitment to remain firmly in the future. On the flipside, NUM and Cadenza front man LEE VAN DOWSKI provides a remix that is almost brutal in it´s coldness it quickly warms up layer by layer to become a muted calculation at euphoria.
