Finally! Two years since releasing their last album the story of musical independence and experimentalism has a new chapter. David “Brun” Brown and James Taylor, as the British duo Swayzak, created the definition of minimal dub-techno with a penchant for vocals. (from Richard Davis, Clair Dietrich, Mathilde Mallen and more..) What may look like a retro step backwards technically proves to be a musical step forward. This sign of maturity, with a deep-rooted sound, raises the Brits from laptop heroes to real producers. Check out what the the guys created in a country house near Montpellier...

I'm sorry... but I'm not feeling this album at all. It's just not deep enough. Swayzak has been moving in this direction for awhile now, so I can't say I'm surprised... but still, I was hoping for a return to their deeper minimal sound.

And now they are doing cell phone commericals on TV?? Who do they think they are, fuckin' Basement Jaxx??
