Information:
Various-Hoarding is silentpaul's debut record on the still new U.S. label, Enemy Records. Originally started in 2004 by Dustin Zahn (Abiotic, Mankind, Compound), Enemy was put on hold to focus on his Abiotic Recordings label with partner Ian Lehman. At the end of 2005, Dustin decided to revamp his Enemy label with a new approach. In a time where minimal labels are a dime a dozen and hard techno labels are as cliché as they come, very few labels are actually working to bridge the two together. What this record brings to you represents the sounds of Enemy Records. The experimentalism and funky approach of minimalist techno clashes with the energy and attitude of heavier techno to present new alternatives to dance music. These records will be perfect for daring DJs who wish to cross-genres and try something different.
