Definately in agreement with Dres about Modern Love being the best label of last year. Firstly, with 9 releases in a year it must be one of the busyiest labels. Secondly the music they have put out has been consistently excellent, with the added bonus of exposing a couple of new(ish) faces...Andy Stott & Manuel Ito! Thirdly, when you look at the label since its inception in 2003 (i think i'm right with the date) the sound and style of the label has evolved, which sadly, other labels simply haven't done! I look forward to the future releases.
Again, Level records was a strong contender and would definately consider it as the best new label! other labels that did well for my ears: Milnor Modern, Delsin, Alpha House, Scape, Sud Electronic, Shitkatapult...and so on, and so on. In general i think it was quite a good year! bring on 2006!!
