Well I love funky music. The funk now is just always based on the same thing.

It is not about being minimal..

minimono has always been funky, you shouldn't be disappointed..

we should instead appreciate those who challenge theirself to develop a sound without sticking to what they have been doing the day before.. without a formula that's gonna die the day after.

it's not about house minimal techno or disco

it's just about music!

i rly like some of these tracks,

but i still think its true there`s certain trend..


Ethique is John Thomas`label and it rocks, specially the 1st ones

i've been browsing some of the first releases on that label. Very good music in there, will mark in wishlist on my discogs.
anyway, about this trend, i don't think there's anything wrong with it. Just that most of what's coming out along these lines isn't quite inspired.. it isn't easy to make 'good house music'. i would suggest to check out this new label, 'all inn ltd'. not exactly memorable masterpieces, but good stuff.
