guillaume lives in canada and has released under various other projects like luci
(mutek) or egg (karat). his partner ernesto comes from argentina originally and
together they form the duo chic miniature. their ep includes three tracks which
highlight the musical versatility between them. "whiskey nene" on the a-side is a
progressively building minimal track that originated during one of their live sets.
"kamikaze video game" on the b-side is a massive psychedelic monster, with it's
distorted sithar sounds that will delight the listener especially in the late,
late hours of the night. closing this impressive debut we have the melanchlolic

noticed that raum released an argy record too. havent heard the samples yet but i hope that it doesnt sound like the previous argy stuff i ve heard like the one on pokerflat. raum is (or was) the only label along with sub static that hasnt released something too progressive still

Chic Miniature is not Egg but a part of them. I actually prefer the sound signature of CM. Saw them live in a loft at new years eve and it was one of the most fucked up set i ever heard. I loved it
