Karmarouge Noir - A new label
Karmarouge Records is going to launch a new imprint in November and it's called Karmarouge Noir. The first release will be a four track EP by Franklin De Costa who's already released on Trapez and Episode - and it's a bomb! What's up with Karmarouge Noir? Like on Karmarouge this new baby picks love out as a central theme with attention to detail and to music. However about the dark side of love. As well as love has a favourable character it also has a reverse side with a destructive attitude. While Karmarouge deals with warm and gracious themes, Kamarouge Noir will be characterized by dark and abstract influences. The musical character of Karmarouge Noir will be expressed by rough, functional and partially classical soundstructures of electronic music. Karmarouge Noir appears pushier but jolly as well. Karmarouge Noir will be noticed ice cold but heated as well, funny or annoying. Call it ingenious or seriously ill. That's a matter of opinion. Anyway Karmarouge Noir takes a clear stand in terms of content. Four-to-the-floor with kicking beats, sweeping grooves and always around 130 bpm. Whatever it is, it's a contrast to Karmarouge!
