This one just came out today. Technically it's a bootleg. It is comprised of those two beautiful tracks he has been playing for the past few months. I am glad to finally know what these are and that they are out

We're not sure why this release is so shrouded in mystery - no info on the labels etc, so we presume there are sample issues - but this is a Villalobos two tracker, and as you'd expect from the South American /Berliner legend, we get lots of deep, warm atmosphere, fat, round kicks and carefully constructed rhythms. Both sides proceed at Villalobos' trademark langorous pace, and there's some weird and wonderful free jazz interludes on one side and almost tribal tinged toms and hats on the other,and you know its' all gonna make perfect sense at 6am watching the sun rise over that canalside club the big man resides at.
