Here we have two new talents from lausanne/ switzerland starting right at the top with releasing their debut 12″ on Serafin’s leading Cadenza imprint: “rubicube” is like a doctoral thesis in rhythm, masterfully arranged with quirky wooden percussion improvisations rotating around a bouncy snare swing and occasional organ chords putting some weight on it. “belladonna” on the flip even manages to raise the pressure with another maze of tightly interwoven fingersnappin beats, rhythmical voice snippets and sparse yet effective sound-fx. this will have you shake your legs like you got ants in your pants.
