Info:
After the very well received Métisse 01 with 2000 And One's remix - played by Sven Väth, Luciano and Ricardo amongst many others - here is the second outing on Curle's subdivision for remixes. Métisse 02 features remixes of the two most wanted Curles to date. First, there's Touane's version of Dub Kult's extraordinary 'Cluster fck' track. Touane, who is working at Persona Records with Stewart Walker, also has releases on Trenton, Dumb-Unit and Lan Muzic. He made something completely new out of 'Cluster fck', whilst keeping the vibe from the original. We're very happy with the result! On the flip Efdemin's 'Acid Bells' gets reworked by Matt O'Brien. The world got to know him last year thanks to Ricardo Villalobos playing and Radio Slave remixing his 'Serotone' track, but Matt just now released a follow-up on his own Off-Key Industries imprint. He manages to make 'Acid Bells' sound even stronger... And to be honest, we never thought such a thing would have been possible. Ace!

Das Remix-Sublabel der Belgier von Curle lässt Efdemins Oberkracher „Acid Bells“ von Matt O’Brien remixen, und Touane macht sich an einen Track von Dub Cult ran. O’Brien drischt ordentlich auf die „Acid Bells“ und ist auf Peak-Time gebürstet, wenn nach dem Break die Claps und der Bass reinkommen, ist festhalten angesagt. Oder für die, die noch stehen können: tanzen. Fehlt nur noch der limitierte „Doffice Remix“ des Efdemin-Burners. Der Touane-Remix von Dub Cults „Cluster fck“ (was auch immer das ist...) buchstabiert Acid etwas subtiler, das Glockenspiel könnte auch von Efdemin geborgt sein. Hit-House.
