i mean, this is an interesting thing posted here.
these last few days i´ve been thinking a lot about troy´s and ananda´s work (gabriel= 8) ) and their "constructive composer set" kind of work.
i´ve just been thinking about it as a rather different way of developing their art compared to what is mixing.
in "regular" music, there are differences between being a musician, or a composer, what we generally "consume" is what may be called musician´s work, and a little less composer´s work.
i think in electronical music kind of same thing is happening, most dj´s mix tracks in order to create a piece (which might be awesome, not discussing it), but some dj´s create all the tracklist having as a result a piece that might be more "solid" on what it says about the artist´s work. when one listens to these kind of "composer´s" play a difference can be felt on what music transmits to the person who is listening, and i think that the artist is able to put a lot more of itself on what he/she does.
i mean, i love mixes, my favourite plays are mixes, not "plays", but i think it´s an interesting thing to think about......(maybe this should be on general chat....)

Well about the tracklist, he plays both sides of the new Wagon Repair of Konrad Black, the first and the last track in this set. I love those tracks!
