i know that...last thing i listened was william basinski - disintegration loops which was quite minimal and sppoky!

so,umm...coul someone put a tracklist of the EP's please?

you can take minimal back to the caveman and there pre-historic snare and drum instruments for all I care ;)
to me maurits von oswald is the originator, going back as far as maybe '91-'92, but then I'm keeping it soully on the electronic dance music side of things...

Hi, the discogs thing you listed was not the label everyone is talking about, but that Jamaican label (and associated studio) was the impetus for the name of the Studio One records in question. They were a 10 record series, all by Kompakt affiliated Wolfgang Voigt.

I personally only have the pink one and I freakin' love it! Dubby minimal at its best. Just enough to keep it going without losing the groove. Ahhh...

i have 7 of the 10

they're all wicked.

excellent tools, as someone mentioned before. and also excellent on their own.

mike ink does dubby tracky techno very well
