cool clap effect to achieve

Hey there! is there anybody that has any ideas about how this effect is made? i need opinions

i'm talking about the rimshot/clap.

sounds like a rimshot but is anticipated from some other sounds that make it sounds like is gently sliding in.
sounds like a open hat with long attack, gated by the rim when it kicks in.
ideas?

Sounds like a regular rimshot with not even much FX/processing

One thing that can help emphasize that sound is to trigger the rim some ms after the beat. 25ms or something like that works fine for my purposes. Does the trick!
