minimal techno songs as reference for mastering

Post by Ed Nomi » Wed Apr 09, 2014 2:16 am

I'm looking for some songs to use as a reference when mastering my minimal productions, songs with excellent balance between bass and hi frequencies, songs that sound fantastic and do well on club sound systems.

Pole - Steingarten album is top as far as production goes, and he work in mastering so i think can't get any better than this ;) That said i think you should use tracks you like / sound similar to yours.. Every track needs different thing on mastering, so because another track hats are peaking at -24db, that doesn't mean your hats should too ;)
