Hi there!
I've been trying to create this pitched down stab/hit perc. How is it done? I cannot seem to get it, I've tried samples and synths to create it but nothing...
it comes in at 0:11 and continues throughout the track
Thanks!

It's a tuned percussive sound of which I am not sure but you're not gonna make that sound. It's a real life instrument that's been processed and pitched. Djembe's, Congas, Bongos are your first port of call, you can always underpin them with a fundamental and re-pitch your samples as you see fit.

Thank you! Will give this a shot and see what I can come up with

Thank you for directing me to that vid!! Certainly could use that! I have even Subbed to that account after watching itmichaellpenman wrote:Do you mean the stab sound?
Sounds like a chord sample with a very tight LP filter env
This how to can help.
Take this sound with out the reverb and delay.
Load it into your sampler.
Tune it.
Add the LP Filter 12pole i think should do it
Run it through some saturation and over drive
And that should give you the sound

However the sound I am looking for its a hit, very low perc time sound, comes in exactly at 0:11 in the track!
