Good laptop for music production

Looking for a laptop for music production use..
Can anyone tell me some of the best or more popular Makes/models for this kind of use.
My budget of no more than $1500

i've been use a dell notebook for nearly 2 years now and i'm satisfied as i'm working mainly ITB -
and a friend of mine recently bought this (i know a bit out of range - but still cheaper than a mac)
which works also excellent...

not dell dude. they are pretty noisy and i think u could get something better for that price. u should build a PC, could probably get something way doper for less
