I'm still approaching things from a kinda purist perspective and I'm not going to fath around sampling 808s or acoustic drums. Mainly for voice. The Octatrack can do live sample manipulation so I might try feeding some outputs from my modules into it,
I've been able to expand my modular set up recently and I will have a section that I plan to use for percussion. But knowing me it will come out like someone talking clouds of shite rather than good honest trustworthy rhythm.

P.S. Lem, the sampling wizard Delia Derbyshire said her favourite instrument was a sh!t old green lamp. Apparantly it had the most beautiful harmonic spectrum when struck.
