Ok, this is a long shot but at Freerotation, I bought a CD off a DJ ( dreadlocks/American accent )
The first track on it, is a House tune with a 707 kick and a female vocal sample saying, 'squeeze'. If that rings any bells or if anyone else who went has go the CD, do you know the name of the track?
I said it was a long shot but failing that, I will upload a small clip.
cheers.
Need a track ID.
Re: Need a track ID.
If you have a clip of the song, just use an app like shazam to figure out the name.

Not in my experience. Shazam, Soundhound etc seem pretty poor for dance music.Themis wrote:to be honest though if its digital available the chances are good shazam knows itThemis wrote:are you serious? what are you listening too? skrillex?Raddler wrote:If you have a clip of the song, just use an app like shazam to figure out the name.
Re: Need a track ID.
there wer two american DJs with dreadlocks, Joey Anderson and Jus Ed.
joey is a thinner guy with long dreads, and Ed is stockier and older with short dreads.
I dont know if Joey was selling CDs but Ed definitely was, you could ask him on Facebook;

Ed gave me all his CDs, but i cant find them right now, still unpacking after Freerotation.
I doubt that they will be commercially available.

Re: Need a track ID.
Yeah it was Jus Ed who I got the CD off. I've put a clip up of the track in question, hopefully it might ring a bell if anyone could take the time to play/hear it. It's only a small file. Thanks for any help.
