Need a track ID.

Post by AK »

Ok, this is a long shot but at Freerotation, I bought a CD off a DJ ( dreadlocks/American accent )

The first track on it, is a House tune with a 707 kick and a female vocal sample saying, 'squeeze'. If that rings any bells or if anyone else who went has go the CD, do you know the name of the track?

I said it was a long shot but failing that, I will upload a small clip.

cheers.

If you have a clip of the song, just use an app like shazam to figure out the name.

That DJ was probably Jus Ed.

Not in my experience. Shazam, Soundhound etc seem pretty poor for dance music.

there wer two american DJs with dreadlocks, Joey Anderson and Jus Ed.

joey is a thinner guy with long dreads, and Ed is stockier and older with short dreads.

I dont know if Joey was selling CDs but Ed definitely was, you could ask him on Facebook;

Ed gave me all his CDs, but i cant find them right now, still unpacking after Freerotation.
I doubt that they will be commercially available.

Yeah it was Jus Ed who I got the CD off. I've put a clip up of the track in question, hopefully it might ring a bell if anyone could take the time to play/hear it. It's only a small file. Thanks for any help.
