Sound in Concentrate:

Microsample some noise. You can use Analog Noise to create the noise. (http://tonebytes.com/analog-noise/)

Mold the sample until it has a short enough release to create a rhythm and not just a continuous wall of sound, but not much shorter.

Loop the sample in 16th notes and increase the shuffle until it feels good to you. You can do this manually by moving every second 16th note just by a slight bit, it's actually better this way if you create some variation in the amount of shuffle each note has.

Run it through an interesting distortion unit.

Run it through a highpass filter.

Run it through a sample reducer.

Sidechain to the kick.

Sound in Programma:

Buy a 909 sample pack if you don't have one already. Wave Alchemy has a nice one, in my opinion. (http://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/909_drums/pid63)

Take the ride cymbal that sounds the best to you from that pack.

Loop the cymbal on the backbeat of the kickdrum.

Run it through a reverb unit. (It's important that the filter and the bitcrush affect the reverb, so place it early in the effect chain.)

Band pass the sound somewhere in the higher midrange, with not too harsh of a Q on the band.

Run it through a distortion/compression unit until it loses a bunch of its attack, then decrease the volume.

Run it through a sample reducer.

Tune the sound a bit lower.

Sidechain to the kick.
