Hardware polysynth up to $ 1000.. which better?

Post by ezz »

Hi, guys!

I have SE1 & jomox 888.. Very happy with this gear ))

Now I'm planning to buy good polysynth.. budget is 1000$.
Finding for nice pad & chord sounds.

I wanted to Juno 106, but I've heard about problems with chips and limited opportunities of this synth.

Please give me advice! nord? virus? anything else.. i cant make a choise ))

for less than 60 bucks you can get a midi to cv converter so that shouldn't be a problem. i use one on my sh101 and it works perfect.

for that money your analog options are Roland juno or JX ranges.

I use a jx3p through some outboard fx for those types of sounds, entire setup was less than $500ca

Do you need a keyboard and knobs? If not, maybe a Roland MKS70? It's on my buylist too.
