Drum Machine Stands

Post by jackbrazzo »

I am after some reasonable stands to put my 707 and Tempest on- Can anyone recommend - I've got the expedit Ikea bookcase (which is brilliant) I dont care what they look like as long as I can still get my 1200 and mixer with the 2 drummers on the top...

Loads of CDJ ones about but thats about it... (-) (*) :-flower

Has anyone ever built their own stuff? When i get my monomachine, I'm thinking of building a small housing for them both ( machinedrum )so that they will face me at about 45 degrees. I don't have a drawing or anything as the image is in my head but I guess it could be made out of either metal or wood. If metal, I'd get some baize stuff for the inside bits so to avoid scratches.

This is very near to the design I had in my head: Image

Probably not too helpful for the OP but been thinking about this.

why not just two sidepanels that mount on it? i've seen some of these on the elektron or gearslutz forum... also tons of carrying cases... there is that one aluminum one that holds two elektrons and has a handle when you fold it up. crzzy!
