IPAD Apps

Post by jackbrazzo »

Animoog, ielectribe, ims20 and theres more. Getting and IPAD2 for Chrissy - anyone played any of the apps yet? Gonna get the 16GB WIFI one as it seems the best value. will be using for work, surfing and music so value for money. Seen some of the stuff you can do on an ims20 - Incredible.

I've got Animoog, ielectribe, rebirth, pixelmagic and the other one the pixel magic people make. Oh, and I just got Phaedra, which is a midi sequencer.

Animoog is really cool. Especially for long drawn out pads.

ielectribe is just like the er-1, but better.

rebirth is...well, it's touch version rebirth. I got this and the ielectribe mostly for when I'm at the inlaws house or some sh!t. The electribe may very well end up in a tune though.

Pixelmagic is a cool app where you can draw your own single cycle waveforms. It has kinda has a 8 bit sound. Haven't used it too much.

Honestly, I'm not too interested in synths like the i-ms20 that function like regular synths or plugins. I'm looking for stuff that utilizes the touch platform more like the animoog's xy screen.
