Sampler suggestion?

Post by konzee »

(soft sampler that is)
Hello my mnml friends! Some interesting posts you have!

I've been using logic for about 2 years, and I've noticed I'm not that deep into sampling. Although I use it all the time, littered in all my tracks or projects, I feel as though its EXS24 / Ultrabeat that is is holding me back.., or i at least I just think they suck. In exs24 whenever I load a sample it sounds really bad and I have to re-adjust it just for it to sound as if I wasn't running it through a sampler (drag'n'drop.) And Ultrabeat is just.. ultrabeat.

so I suppose the question is ;are there any logic (AU) based samplers that are good besides kontakts? (i.e affordable or free.)

EXS24 is one of the cleanest samplers out there.

Have you checked all the settings? I'm not familiar with Logic's built-in stuff but I know that on Ableton Simpler's default envelope settings aren't exactly useful for example.
