Garage Band Iphone!

What is currently blowing my mind is Garage Band on iphone. What a great way to sketch down ideas and just have fun. There are basic kits in there to get ideas down and you can make melodies really quickly on the keyboard.

I think the ipad version is better because of the larger screen but still you've got your iphone on you, and you are waiting for your food to come at a restaurant you can bring it out and make a quick sketch.

I want to try the importing functionality to see if i can the patterns into ableton. That would be the next step.

So is the NI iMaschine, and some other cool music apps.
Very exciting times for music production to be honest.

I got nano studio on my iPhone. It's like having a little MPC in your pocket. I don't know if I really need GarageBand.

It's really fun. You can sample stuff then resample. The synth isn't bad either!
