Garage Band Iphone!

Post by hydrogen » Thu Nov 03, 2011 9:15 pm

What is currently blowing my mind is Garage Band on iphone. What a great way to sketch down ideas and just have fun. There are basic kits in there to get ideas down and you can make melodies really quickly on the keyboard.

I think the ipad version is better because of the larger screen but still you've got your iphone on you, and you are waiting for your food to come at a restaurant you can bring it out and make a quick sketch. :D

I want to try the importing functionality to see if i can the patterns into ableton. That would be the next step. :)

It really is great, I agree!
So is the NI iMaschine, and some other cool music apps.
Very exciting times for music production to be honest.

I got nano studio on my iPhone. It's like having a little MPC in your pocket. I don't know if I really need GarageBand.

It's really fun. You can sample stuff then resample. The synth isn't bad either!
