actually it built it a romanian friend of a friend, this friend of mine will sell me with a resonable price , but tell me about the sound pallete , warmth and so...

p.s.: will come back with a review of this semi-modular soon.

check out the Jomox Mbase drum modules !

perfect for me, as i already use the Mbase 09 for my kicks, now it can go in the rack with CV control !!

that's cool news.... always liked the look of Jomox's stuff.. not that into 808/909 clones in the context of a euro system.

digital control bit of a let down though. (pretty sure the CV goes to digital control and then back to analogue again)

i'm playing in room 1 of a techno night and a bit shitting it... subtly thinking about getting ordinary drums but also wanting to continue my faith in the drone... the promoter also believes so let's see what happens.

yeah but the mbase doesnt sound like a clone of anything in particular, it just does kickdrums really well.
shame about the a/d/a but i can live with it for the concenience at gigs.

yep I was saying that to Jomox's credit...

the M-brane is definitely way out of the curve.

I think i'm going to go with the tiptop BD909. It seems quite flexible compared to the other tiptop drum modules. I'm using the Vermona Kick Lancet at the moment but i've got enough things on my desk. The mod.brane could be interesting for me though.
