I'm working for an infrastructure roll-out contractor as a QS. I'm actually working all over southern Africa, but am based in Zim at the minute. To be fair, most of the stuff you hear about Zimbabwe is a bit exaggerated. It's perfectly safe, lot's of bars, restaurants and commerce, good food, nice weather, great people. Much safer than South Africa. Just not much House or Techno! We got it good in Europe and the US.
