Funny you should say that. I'm actually living in Zimbabwe now, and being forced to use headphones because my studio is in the UK. It sucks.

I'm working for an infrastructure roll-out contractor as a QS. I'm actually working all over southern Africa, but am based in Zim at the minute. Obviously it's awesome with the Safari and crazy sights, but there is no good music here as you'd imagine, and head phones don't do it for me at all.

To be fair, most of the stuff you hear about Zimbabwe is a bit exaggerated. It's perfectly safe, lot's of bars, restaurants and commerce, good food, nice weather, great people. Much safer than South Africa. Just not much House or Techno! We got it good in Europe and the US.
