I gotta say I am a huge fan of the line 6 dl4 and I hate line6 products. I got one for super cheap and it's perfect amount of Lo fi character to go with my use of tape.

i have used it on everything, and yeah if you are coming out at line level then you would want a re-amp box. Or just turn down the gain, this achieves primarily the same purpose but if your an audiophile just get a re-amp box. If you can read a schematic you can build one for real cheap.

I have both Eventide Space and Timefactor. Space is phenomenal - highly recommended and a huge variety of sounds. I haven't spent much time with Timefactor and it looks like Strymon's new Timeline pedal will be the ultimate in tempo-synced delay pedals.

Both Space and Timefactor have a switch where you can select line level inputs.

absolutely.
I bought an H8000fw at the start of 2011, after a few years of drooling on one (and saving up)
if they would have brought out their pedals back then, I would have probably gotten me a few pedals and saved me tons of cash.
Eventide is the rolls royce of FX.

I run the pitch factor into the time factor into the space. The space is easily the most useful. I'm not too excited by the time factor to be honest. I've thought about selling it and getting a RE-201 or TTE tube tape echo (I also have a cheap behringer digital delay). The pitch factor is really cool though.
