anyone *need* a BCR2000

Post by oblioblioblio »

got one of these, can't be arsed with ebay or car boot sale for not much money.

If anyone wants to pay for postage and has a good reason why I should give them one, or knows someone who it would make a big difference in their life to, lemme know. If you can afford one easily and just want it becuase it's free this isn't for you.

Yes! Those capoeira clips were sick during your live set video.

It looks really fluid. i love it. parts of her work reminded me of android jones (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJRVTO8f9sQ). kind of floating abstractions... i think he does most of his with live digital painting.

i bought a BCD3000 and it's a big piece of s**t. all the knobs and sliders are of such horrendously low quality that i would never take it into a professional setting.

i'm not normally a fan of behringer gear, but i used a BCR2000 for three years in 'professional settings' without any problems, as did my VJ partner, and lots of other professional artists i know.

i'd agree that they are cheap build quality, but if they work, they work, and you can just throw them away and get another if they fail.

i eventually moved on to a CME bitstream which is a really pro quality kit, but you can't knock the BCR2000 for value for money.

also what is a 'professional setting' ? that to me means a place where there is beer and people not in control of all of their faculties. a pro setting is a a war zone for expensive kit.

anyway mate, obliobliolio is giving it away,. thanks oblioblioblio !
