Windows 7 + Ableton + Winamp Shoutcast Streaming Problems!

Hi Guys,

A bit of a nightmare going on here.. I'm trying to my ableton liveset to live radio via shoutcast, I used to do this with Windows XP without a problem using only the onboard soundcard and selecting that as my audio source in the shoutcast dsp plugin (rather than streaming the winamp playlist).

As I said, I'm only using my onboard sound (realtek i think) but i dont have the option to select it as an audio source in shoutcast, Its greyed out!

Anyone that knows anything please help me out, Is this somthing todo with Win7?

hm maybe the Sample Rate is wrong

you can change it in the settings for your onboard card

click the icon in the taskbar -> then open the settings for the onboard sound output there you can change it.

Ok, It was set to 24bit.. I've now changed it to 16bit like yours.

Yeh that didnt work, You see the problem is that I cant select my soundcard in shoutcast.. Frustrating!!

Is the sound card available when Ableton isn't running? Could be that it's locked by Ableton
