wow... just picked this up because i was bored of all my hardware yesterday. my first reaction is the want to sell a lot of my studio gear haha... but then i went and recreated the sounds on the real deal and laughed at myself for thinking such things. but it does really sound nice... there is a quality to it. I love being able to connect effects in creative ways so quickly.

I really like the new Block stuff! very cool innovation here.

Copyprotection is a pain in the ass. Still waiting on my key... but until then i have to be on the internet to load any songs i made.

Other than that the interface is lightyears away from reason 4. Lots of things in there now to make the workflow so simple and streamlined. nice to have a rack that goes both horizontal and vertical. and NOT have to worry about routing into the main mix!! it just kind of goes. its all organized and tucked away. very nice!

I use Reason and I think you do need something which acts as aplug in to keep it interesting. I use a hardware sampler and mash sounds in that (often from reason synths), running them back into the computer.

A friend of mine used Reason for a long time. I always really liked the interface and the cabling was a very cool feature. Have they got VST support yet? The fact that it lacked that turned so many people away from their DAW. They could have been #1 imo if they just supported plugins.
