you can´t be serious recommend him frooty loops.... :)
its just not a good interface. but ok... id go for ableton live since it has this nice little info window which explains everything you mouseover.

yeah but if you don't know what a sequencer is Ableton won't help you at all. Even with mouse over... everything looks the same except for these little text labels. Ableton is a very advanced program in this way. The first thing that opens up in loops is the simplest beat machine and everything stems from there. Besides deadmau5 and many other pros use it.
