BEYERDYNAMIC DT-770 PRO/80 OHM OR BEYERDYNAMIC DT-770 PRO?

I researched on the net about impedance but I still cannot come to decide on my own... Any help please?

Thanks

you probably don't need to know about impedence unless you're plugging the headphones into funny places(i.e. places which don't have a headphone socket... but i can't think of anything that you would want to plug the headpones into other than heapdhone outputs ). impedence is the value of a resistor on the input and output of every piece of audio gear, to allow music electronics to connect to each other. I think it's mainly for safety. I'm 90% you should just ignore the impedence value in this situation.

I absolutely agree here. I have the DT 770 and it is good for listening to music but not the best for mixing because the bass is over represented.
I also own the DT 880 Pro and have to say that I find these headphones very good for mixing, the sound is more balanced and even.

thank you, so no-one seems to recommend the 770s for mixing... I'll look for something else in the same price range then.

I've gone through so many different pairs and the only one I would really recommend is the sennheiser HD-600's. They are simply amazing headphones... I got them for 275$ used on kijiji.... You should seriously give them a listen.
