Tale Of Us "Sound"

Post by ZANDERHAY »

Looking for that dystinctive tale of us sound, hard to explain as a fair new producer but it is a synth widely used in most of their music. I am wondering what synth was used and if there is a vst software alternative i could use? anyone know?

would be great thanks.

here is an example of the sound i am talking about, it is not a tale of us song but uses similar synth;

srsly it could be anything. Jupiter? Tetra? Korg Monopoly Probably not a juno because there is too much detuning of the osc.

you should be able to make this with any descent subtractive synthesizer and some time.

You need FM synth if you really want to get it right and ratios of 4 and 5 with 5 sine OSC. ENV's Just decay
