mbase swap
anyone want to swap my mbase for something they are not using?

i'm finding just a bit of saturation, compression and eq after my pre-amp the mbase can create nice kicks. I also like to compliment it with sampled kick with an HPF on it so the mbase handles all the low end and blends into the sample. I also like keeping their timing exactly the same, so it keeps consistent with each other and i can get a solid no-phase on the two kick.
I've used samples, I really want to check out those goldbaby ones though. Either way... i know I really like being able to customize the kick in each track. I can make it exactly how i want and have more variation in each kick trigger.

this is the truth, back when i was doing live pa more often this was my kick....and oooooooooooof it was huuuuge.steevio wrote:you'll miss it if you ever start playing live bro.
theres nothing like being able to tweak your kick on the fly.
if you ever get analogue desk, you'll be able to get it sounding way better.
ok its not the dogs bollox, but it sounds f**king massive through a system.
useless in the studio in my opinion.
