Always best to just do it how you think it should be done and keep messing around. Odds are you'll eventually come up with something you'll enjoy and it'l be your own. ;)

I think that the kick is quite simple, but the sample abowe, that has some kind on vinly click, and sample below that is very bassy and dirty makes the magic...

I think it's simpler than you think. No need for layering IMO
Take a 909 kick then send to a return with overdrive and some eq.
If your using Ableton add the overdrive to the kick channel and group it so some of the pure signal goes through.
