bassline tips

Hi guys, Im making a track, but Ive some problem with the bassline, I dont really know how to have a great bassline quantization in logic without trouble with the kick.

Might be an obvious answer, but have you tried some light sidechain compression?

Set up an EQ and automate a low cut to roll off frequencies past the attack of the kick when it hits. (assuming your kick has some nice meaty sub frequencies to fill the void)

maybe your kick is a problem and ur making it too noisy and stompy killing all frequecies that run over and under it? Try making a kick that you can feel more than you can hear?
