Bass is fantastic too... nice round square or triangle it sounds like. What unit is that coming from?
yes, no chords, just VCOs and rhythmic PWM

bass - MFB VCO pulsewave through Tiptop Z3000

I dont get this.

Are you using two osc to create the bass?

very nice clip steevio, really impressed by the sound, my congratulations!

makes me think about going down the modular route. but i'm afraid it's not the time yet for me... my one month old daughter is the priority, i don't feel start spending money on potentially addictive music gear now.

anyway, soldi stuff, i also re-watched the videos from freerotation, respect.

This. Seriously you should be posting more of those. That'd help lift some of the fog around modular, it's really like architecture in the end. Building up electrical structures.

Agreed. I would like to see a video from the start of the experience to the end of a track. Would be good to see how you morph sounds into a track.

I started looking last night at modules and wow I felt like a kid in sweet shop. There are so many different choices.

i don't quite understand how suddenly this video changes how everyone feels about modular... just becuase someone is using the machines to make interesting EDM. Maybe a picture is worth a thousand words?

(edit... meh, probably not worth me complianing about... )

i guess because it suddendly gives a more concrete idea about some sonic possibilities with modular in a "techno" contest.
yes in this case a video is worht a thousand posts.

Yes i was skeptikal about modular, because it was hard for me to get a picture of it, but with this video i realized it could indeed be a lot of fun.
