Producing Berghain techno?

Another possibility is that he's sampled a reverb tail or freeze of the kick he's using, looped it or otherwise extended it somehow, and put a dry(ish) kick over the top. I dunno. All of the dynamics processing above seems like quite a finnicky way of going about getting this sound; I'm wondering if it's just a sampled rumble cloud with some sidechaining?

lots of synths have reverbs and delays

some sequencers became DAW's and they have lots of effects.
